Easy & Fun Nail Tutorial: Simple and Cute

Hello Guys!
I just posted a new nail tutorial on YouTube. I absolutely loved this nail and it wasn't very hard to make and it's very cute!
It's inspired by the French Mani with a twist. I used two colors: a bright red and a magenta/fuchsia color. The light lavender/lilac color is meant to emphasize these colors.

I added a little decorative effect just to make it cuter. I explain the process in my video which you can check out below:


This was really easy to make and I'm very happy with the end result. I hope you like and try it out :)

Staying Healthy: VegFruit Smoothie

So I've been trying to stay healthy lately. I try to eat less and eat more veggies along with fruits. But unfortunately I sometimes forget or I don't have time, or anything other excuse I can come up with. So I decided to make my own blend of essential fruits and vegetables that are both good for weight lost and healthy for your body, skin, etc. Fruit and veggies should be a part of your diet. They have vitamins and minerals that are essential for our body's health. Here's my errr recipe, sort of. I mean you can mix in some other veggies and fruit in you want, but this is what I drink.

What you will need:
This is for 9-10 servings (I have a big family)
You can also refrigerate for the next day or later

1/2 cup of these fruits: (I use frozen, to have a cold smoothie)
Strawberries
Blueberries
Blackberries

1 apple sliced
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 mango, peeled and cut into squares
1/2 cup of sliced celery
1/2 cup of baby carrots
1 cup of water
1 cup of orange juice

Then you just blend it all in the blender like this:


The apple acts like a natural sweetener along with the banana. So Dont Add Any Sugar! You shouldn't need to add any more. 
I absolutely love this smoothie. Its so delicious and nutritious! I love drinking this and I'm having a serving of my vegetables and fruits.  

Again you can add anything you want to it. I suggest kale, spinach, and any other yummy fruits.

Some Design Work

I've been working on a few pieces just to keep practicing using illustrator and getting comfortable with it. I've been trying to accustom myself to the pen tool to do the drawings. I really like the pen tool and its definitely getting easier to use than the "freehand" pencil. I've been working on just random stuff like t-shirt designs, to baby announcements.

This is just a small preview of my creation of the baby announcement.
Since the sex of the baby was not really important to me color wise, I chose a light teal at first then chose this light yellow.


I kept the design simple, and not too elaborate  I decided that adding an image to the design would help work with it. This way the design doesn't overpower the actual meaning of the work and whats important in terms of hierarchy. I really enjoyed doing this simple design. I expect to keep working on this and trying to add more stuff.

Up All Night

Usually I'm up all night just browsing the web looking for cool stuff. I usually go on Tumblr or Pinterest and waste my time there. Today was a lazy day after work in the AM. Napped then went to a small party with cakes, and i had 3 pieces... Anyways, I dont know why I stay up late. I'm tired but I just won't go to bed. I think I like the idea that I'm alone at night, because when everyone is sleeping, I'm awake. Or its just the fact that I'm addicted to the computer and I can't get off. Anyways, I've decided that I'm going to try reading books, or try designing my own font, or even do a tutorial when I'm bored at night and I don't want to sleep yet.

Thats my plan. Not sleeping, and staying up late has taken a toll on my under eye bags and have darken a bit. Maybe my next tutorial will be how to reduce dark under eyes or bags.

But anyways, I'm gonna continue to scroll on Tumblr till there no more new posts then probably sleep.

Nightly Skincare Routine

Finally my video is ready. Took a little longer than expected. Well this is my nightly skincare routine. Taking care of your skin at night is a great way to keep your skin healthy and will look better for the day to come. The removal of makeup is also very important in that not removing any makeup can attract zits and pimples. I have oily skin with some dry spots so moisturizing at night is also great. 


These are all the products I used. This tutorial is a simple routine that has worked for me. The most importants items here are definitely washing your face and moisturizing. Your face with thank you, well me for helping you. :)
